Born in Korea, raised in Busan and Santa Barbara, and a resident of New York City and Mexico before landing in Honolulu, Jin combines a wealth of international business, construction and real estate experience to fully service his clients with the highest competence.

After pursuing his education at the Cate School, UC Berkeley and Harvard University as a Woodrow Wilson Fellow, Jin structured equity and bond deals as an investment banker for DLJ Securities Corp. in San Francisco. As an entrepreneur, Jin crafted and negotiated data distribution contracts with NYMEX and Enron from New York City and London where he helped build Kiodex Inc. from ground up, a risk management software company. Thereafter, Jin lived and worked in Mexico conducting land acquisitions and managing real estate developments representing investors from Europe and Asia. More recently, Jin leveraged his construction knowledge to work with Nan Inc., the largest local Hawaii general contractor, on a $100 mm project; further advancing his building knowledge which he believes is a necessary but often overlooked skill set for any real estate professional. ​Fluent in Korean, Spanish and English, Jin is comfortable to effectively communicate with both international and local clientele.
